Do you have a passport…for family adults and children
John Havener January 23rd, 2007
Today the U.S. Government ( Dept. of Homeland Security) began to require passports for air travelers returning from Canada, Mexico, and the Carribbean to the United States. Imagine the shock, perhaps feelings of horror, at trying to return to the U.S. by flashing a driver’s liscence or birth certificate… and being denied entry! This time next year passports will also be required to reenter the U.S. by car or ship. It is time to get your passports, including passports for each child. Depending on your family size and finances, this could cost a chunk of money ( about $100.00 each).
Having all your documents sqeeky clean, totally in order and up to date ( Did you know US passports have expiration dates!?) is a key survival/ service principle. In some senarios developments could come that make it impossible to get certain needed documents… get what you need now, safeguard them , and prepare to grab and go in a crunch. During World War II many Jewish men, women and CHILDREN perished because they did not have the “PROPER” documentation to leave Nazi controlled territories. Get your passports and other key documents in order ASAP. For a practical way to deal with some of these documents see www.EmergencyFile.com.
